Upcoming Tours - 2024/2025 Season
The Havana International Ballet Festival is a held every two years. It showcases Havana's National Ballet, as well as other ballet and contemporary dance companies both local and international. It is one of the world's most prestigious dance festivals. This non-competitive festival is designed to promote goodwill and exchange between artists, critiques, choreographers, and other professional in the dance world. Our tour also includes private rehearsal of contemporary Cuban dance companies and dance workshops.

This tour is co-lead with artist and cultural traveler, Nancy Cusack. It will focus primarily on the art, architecture and musical heritage of Cuba. We will explore several architectural styles throughout Havana, visit visual artist studios, projects, and art institutions. It will take place during the Havana Art Biennial months, which will make it extra rich in visual arts. The music piece will include different musical genres, including jazz, classical, and popular music, such as son and rumba.

Tour The Havana Art Biennial will be held during a three months period. During this time there will be exhibitions, art openings, special projects, and conferences.Artists will also open their studios as collateral participants of the official biennial. It is a great time to be in Havana, particularly for artists, curators, collectors, and art aficionados. We are planning the following dates, but you and your small group can go anytime:
Nov.16-23, 2024, Feb 19 - 26, 2025 The Havana Salsa Festival brings together some of the best Cuban salsa bands and dancers! These are days filled with dance parties, classes, and fun! Cuba is the birthplace of salsa, better known on the island as son or timba. Other genres of Cuban music, such as rumba and changui will also be showcased. This festival promises to be a true salsa lovers paradise, with top Cuban bands and orchestras electrifying the vibe.

The Havana International Jazz Festival - known as Jazz Plaza- brings together some of the best jazz musicians both on the island and internationally. It is a remarkable week filled with music from the afternoon into the wee hours of the night. Although the main focus is jazz, you will also experience son, rumba, and salsa music by some of Cuba's top talent. In addition, there are master classes throughout the day for musicians and music lovers.
